RKD's secretive Shinobi-Tech special projects division in Kudankita works closely with ONI on R&D. Black Falcon is the codename for a series of stealth coatings originally made for use on Prowler stealth ships and then adapted for covert operatives and ground vehicles. Its formulation and application processes remain a trade secret, but it has been demonstrated to have exceptional durability (including limited self-healing of abrasions) and thermal dissipation qualities, in addition to further reducing visual and hyperspectral signatures.
